Stoneware Clay. Food Safe Glaze.
This stoneware egg poacher was wheel-thrown and fired to 2300 degrees for strength and durability.
About 4 inches across and 2 1/4 inches high.
Poaching and egg is usually done by dropping the egg without the shell into swirling, boiling water, which can be tricky and messy. This egg poacher produces a very similar result in a microwave in under a minute with no mess.
Just use a little cooking spray, drop the egg into the cooker and microwave for 30-50 seconds. Adjust time (and maybe power) for perfect yoke. You may also want to try using a spoonful of water instead of cooking spray.
Or… scramble one to two eggs and add mushrooms, diced ham, whatever to make an egg just right for an English muffin, biscuit, egg sandwich, etc.
It cooks so fast you only need one to cook eggs for the whole family. Great for the dorm or office.
At the time of writing this there were 12 in stock. Some may have sold by the time you read this. The one you get may or may not be the one pictured but will be very similar.
