This stoneware dog bowl was thrown on the wheel then fired to vitrification for strength and durability. A long heat soak at 2300 degrees allowed the glazes time to produce colors that are varied, rich and complex. See detail picture. Wider at bottom so it will not tip over and heavy enough to make it a little harder to push across the floor.
About 6 1/2 inches wide at top and 2 inches high. Holds 4 cups.
Food-safe. Okay in microwave and dishwasher.
