This dog bowl was thrown on the wheel and fired to vitrification for strength and durability. A long heat soak at 2300 degrees allowed the glaze time to develop variation and depth (see detail picture) and form "drips" that make it look like the glaze is still running off the pot. There is one place where a drip ran too much and had to be ground off.

About 6 3/4 inches wide. About 3 1/2 inches high. Holds 7 1/4 cups.

Food-safe. Okay in microwave and dishwasher.
