Stoneware Clay. Food Safe Glaze.
This stoneware bowl was thrown on the wheel then altered slightly for gesture then fired to vitrification for strength and durability. A long heat soak at 2300 degrees and a controlled slow cooling allowed the glazes time to produce colors that are varied, rich and complex.
About 7 1/4 inches wide at widest points and 4 inches high.
Food-safe. Okay in microwave and dishwasher.
