Something nice for a knitter.
This stoneware knitting bucket with a cane handle was fired to vitrification for strength and durability. A long heat soak at 2300 degrees allowed the glazes time to mingle, produce colors that are rich and complex and look like they are still running down the side of the bucket. There are no sharp edges to tangle or cut the yarn. The bottom is extra thick for weight to keep the bucket from tipping over.
The cane handle is all natural cane. Even the knot at the top and the rings that hold the handle tight are handwoven cane, not plastic or wire.
About 6 3/4 inches wide and 7 1/4 high (not counting the handle).
