This little bowl is made of the most translucent porcelain available (made from the purest, and most expensive, kaolin in the world, New Zealand Kaolin). It was thrown on the wheel and altered slightly to make it a little oblong. It was fired to 2300 degrees F. for strength, durability and translucently.
Approximately 6 1/2 inches wide at two widest points and 3 1/2 inches high.
The clear glaze is food-safe and it is okay to put this bowl in the microwave and dishwasher.
