Ceramic watering bell for a gentle watering of houseplants, bonsai, terrariums, seedlings, etc.
Watering Bells were popular with the wealthy in 19th Century Europe for pampering exotic plants that they did not trust their servants to care for.
Submerge the Watering Bell in water until it is full. Place your thumb over the hole in the top. Hold over the plant needing water and lift thumb off hole to let the water gently rain down. Cover hole again to stop the flow of water.
It also makes a nice weed pot or vase for a dried flower.
This handmade, stoneware Watering Bell was fired to 2300 degrees for strength and durability.
4 inches high and 3 1/4 inches in diameter. Holds 3/4 of a cup.
Food safe. Okay in microwave and dishwasher.
Everything in this shop is handmade and one of a kind.
I ship within 24 hours of receiving an order. If you order more than one item the estimated shipping may be more than actual shipping. I refund overpayment of shipping if more than $1.
