This large, stoneware dog bowl is divided. This slows down the dog that quaffs down food too fast and it provides a way to offer three kinds of food in the same dish. Heavy enough to make it a little harder to push across the floor.
This one has three sections for food instead of two like my other large slow feeders. The food is harder to get to and slows down feeding more than my other slow feeders. Maybe too hard for some dogs.
It was thrown on the wheel and fired to vitrification for strength and durability. A long heat soak at 2300 degrees allowed the glaze time to develop depth and variation.
3 inches high and 10 1/2 wide.
Food-safe. Okay in microwave and dishwasher.
