Everything in this shop is handmade and one of a kind.
This stoneware bowl was thrown on the wheel and fired to vitrification for strength and durability. A long heat soak at 2300 degrees allowed the glazes time to develop subtle colors. There are two small specks of clay that fell into the bowl during the firing and were covered by the glaze.
About 11 1/2 inches wide and 4 inches high.
Food-safe. Okay in microwave and dishwasher.
