This large, stoneware dog bowl is divided. This slows down the dog that quaffs down food too fast and it provides a way to offer two kinds of food in the same dish. Heavy enough to make it a little harder to push across the floor.
It was thrown on the wheel and fired to vitrification for strength and durability. A long heat soak at 2300 degrees allowed the glazes time to run, mingle, and pool.
Everything in this shop is handmade and one of a kind.

Food-safe. Okay in microwave and dishwasher.
