This wood fired planter was colored by flames and glazed by the ash in the fire. It was fired in an anagama (Japanese for "cave kiln") stoked with wood every few minutes non-stop for five days.
9 1/2 inches at two widest points and 3 3/4 inches high. It has a small drainage hole. Okay indoors or outdoors.
